ESPN for Education

The greatest power of cable television networks is that they aggregate large audiences for specific interests and provide consistent programming for those passions. ESPN for Sports, Food Network for cuisine and HGTV for home improvement & decorating. Yet we have no such television home for education. NBC does a nice job one week a year with Education Nation but it's talking heads and while informative, it's not entertaining. Visualize a full time cable tv network staffed by professional producers, directors and writers who showcase and highlight teachers, students, parents, schools, alumni and best practices. A consistent, informative and enertaining presentation of the best in eduction. Open to all sides and dedicated to promoting the collective efforts of all those who contribute to make education our nation's second largest industry... Might this help?
